PLUSMINUS

Two comedians, one Austrian, one Swiss, find themselves on a buddy road trip after the Swiss told the flat joke: „What is the difference between Switzerland and Austria? Switzerland has the plus and Austria the minus in the flag.“
Packed with urge for knowledge and naive curiosity they start their trip through Austria and Switzerland to find out, which nation is the better one. And they are searching for the answers of two crucial questions: Are the Swiss really free of humour and what colour do dustbin liners have?

30 IMMORTALS OF GENEVA

18th century. Delphine is part of the most  bizarre financial system the world has ever seen. The bankers of Geneva are speculating on the life expectancy of chosen maidens.

The vivacious Delphine has fallen in love with Edward, a young suave handsome English lord, but bound in irrevocable complications little will ever come of the affair. Then she meets Sébastian, a fiery young revolutionary and falls madly in love – a love so deep she would do anything to keep it forever but her position and binding contract to Maiden Bonds means she cannot marry him, Edward or any other man…

FORGET SUICIDE

MJ can’t go any longer. She is 17, is a cutter and thinks about committing suicide. She meets Adam and recognizes that life has to offer more than lies and betrayal. Her friend Sam wants to lobster herself. MJ wants to thwart this but it ends in a tragic accident. Hate and resentment descend upon MJ. But with her actions she becomes a testimonial of a perverted society.
MJ can’t go any longer. A last gasp against hate and guilt begins…

FAREWELL CINEMA

A picture puzzle about a woman’s near-death experience and the bit by bit passing of analog cinema films…
A young woman awakes in an old cinema and has no clue how she got there. The only person there is an old man in the projector room. Still confused she starts a conversation with him about analog cinema technology and its dying. To do him a favor she agrees to to watch a recently edited movie. While she watches it, she starts to levitate weightlessly. Suddenly lightnings and earthquakes tremor the cinema hall. She is lying on the street being resuscitated. She opens her eyes. In the background there is an old cinema. The door opens and the old man exits, locks the doors and disappears into the night.

EVIL LIVE

After messing up with an evil guy, a Lady ends up inside a coffin – buried alive in a dark wood. But with a little, crispy help things can turn upside down …

Quick and dirty – this is the idea behind a commercial for a well-known American snacks manufacturer. In shortest time and with a minimalist budget the 2 minutes (and 1 second) spot was realized. In 2017 EVIL LIVE also sparked the juries behind the Top Shorts Film Festival, the Chicago Independent Film Festival, the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival and the IndieFEST Film Awards.
